I wanted to send a short and public thank you to Rob Lay and everyone on Fchat for their support over the past few years.
I will be going to back to really enjoying Fchat as a place of information and meeting good friends from all over the world just like I used to.

No more daily watch pics???? :(

They were a highlight of the day for the watch geeks here!

Still, the regular user experience is a simpler one. ;)

Will you still post in the affordable watch thread? That was always a favorite of mine.

Man, this was one of the reasons I logged on to FerrariChat. Don't be a stranger, Chris, and good luck.

It appears that the Affordable Watch Thread has now been locked.
It reached a size of 3940 posts of some of the most interesting watches and watch discussions.
The thread started on 9/8/2007, exactly 4 years ago.

This makes me a sad panda. :(

Thanks John, things are going well. I was here years before sponsoring and will be here years from now. I'm a car nut and a Ferrari nut, I'm not going anywhere!

Very true, simpler is better :)

Yes, I will be around, as I stated, I was here years before sponsoring and will be years for years to come

Can't wait! Jay is waiting for your :D

I wont be a stranger Scotty, I am looking for a hotrod truck, so i will prob be calling you soon for your opinion :)
A lot of them to choose from
    Hi Ron,
I didn't think it was four years, wow! Time flies. I really thought it was 2 years.
I first subscribed in 05 but was on here about a year prior to that. So...that makes me old :)

You're right. I got the wrong thread start date.
It was the "What watch are you wearing today" thread that you started in Sep 2007.
Oh, well. Still gonna miss your Affordable Watch thread.

I assume VTC (the watch store) is still in business and you're still working there, true?

Yes, our stores are still kickin and doing very well. Our ebay store and websites are also very well...thankfully
I personally have been doing watches since 1988.
My grandfather was repairing them long before I was born. :)

Gonna miss this thread. I log on almost every day to check it. Of course it has cost me a bit since I have gotten a couple of very nice watches off of Chris.
What became of the Ferrarichat watch?
