John and Franco got many well-deserved thank you's at the event... but I thought I'd carry it over to here. You guys are masters at running an elite event... the attention to detail is spectacular... and your ability to foster a personality for the event that is absolutely amazing is truly special.

But I also wanted to extend that thank you to all the rest of the Louisiana crowd who worked so hard at putting it all together... but more than that... you guys provided the friendly, sharing touch that is what truly separates this event...

I've never been to an event of anywhere near that size where there was so much friendly banter... just a big group of good friends getting together to share their passion. And I suspect that it is that excess of passion that group has that makes it that way. What a great community.

I'd like to thank the Louisiana crowd by name... John, Jim, Dave, Joe, Kelly, John, Richard, ... but not being an insider to that group, I don't know all the people that need to be named... but I salute you all!!! What a great chapter you have going there in Louisiana!

Oh, and while I'm thanking people... I'd like to thank the Kansas contingent for coming down... I very much enjoyed your company... you added much to the personality of the event.

And then really the rest of the supercar field... amazingly nice guys...

And of course, as I mentioned in the other thread, the owners of the "Historical Cars"... thanks for bringing those show-stopper cars... and thanks for being so willing to share yourselves in addition to the cars.

And finally, let me thank all the F-chatters who attended... it felt like half the party was F-chatters... of course, I was probably a bit biased in that, since its the F-chatters that I knew the best. But it was great to not only meet, but have time to get to know several of you F-chatters much better.

    Forza!

    Brian,

You are a fantastic guy, and it was both my honor and pleasure to meet you. Never would I have imagined that a brief communication a few days before the event would lead to such a great time :) As a result we have lots of insane video footage for this year's movie, which is sure to be quite the production -- after tallying all of our footage last night, I came to realize that the video crew shot more than 35 hours of footage for the movie this year! This does not include footage being provided to us by other participants, which also equals several hours.

I will be in contact with you over the next couple of days (probably early next week) to sort out the details of your video footage :)

    Cheers,
    Richard

Brian, a big thank you to you for giving me a ride in the Stradale.
    What a great experience!
Also thanks go out to Dr. Who, and Dan H.

How John and Franco can make each FFQC better than the last is amazing.

An F1 car running on a track in the middle of the cane fields!!
I don't know how they can top this years event.
