I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for all of the great information that is shared and discussed. I have been on the hunt for a Red 1985 Euro 308 for a year now and finally pulled the trigger today. The decision was made with much more confidence based on the information shared here. I look forward to many years of enjoyment and hope to contribute in the future. Thanks again everyone.

Congrats on the car!! Looks great! With the transport, where from and where to? If it is in the lower 48, contact either Horseless Carriage or Intercity Transport. Both of them give discounts for FCA members I believe, and I know that Intercity gives a discount for FChat members. Horseless may also. I used Horseless to move my 328 from Arkansas to New Jersey two years ago when I bought it, and they did a great job. The car looks nice. Avoid the temptation to save a few bucks by using an open carrier. Horseless and Intercity use closed trailers, and they know how to handle exotics. It's worth the extra money to do it right!!!

Thanks. The best quote I received was from Intercity. Good to know people are familiar with them.

"Now I just need to get it transported to it's new home."

Save the money and damage and have more fun - Drive the car to it's new home! :)

buy some 16 inch wheels. those are metric wheels and you cannot get metric tires easily or cheaply.

thecarreaper - thanks. About 30 minutes after the transaction went through, the 16" reproduction wheels were ordered. Bought the car our of Nevada, 33K miles, pretty good shape overall. Found quite a few cars that looked better in pictures than in person. Made two trips out of state and did the PPI's. The trips weren't cheap, but well worth the investment to ensure you aren't going to get a surprise.
