Thank you St. Patty! F430 picked up, and in my posession ...

Being Irish, I can't think of a better Leprechaun gift than picking up my new (to me) F430 F1 Spider. I flew to San Antonio, and picked her up last night. Pictures don't do these cars justice - they are much prettier in person. I got a PPI before arriving, and the car passed with flying colors, with the exception of new headers (cracking slightly) ... all done under warranty.

I put 200 miles on her last night, and 800 miles today! Man, this is a fun car! I am driving back to Seattle ... and in 24 hours I drove through Texas, New Mexico, and am in the "lower left corner" of Colorado right now - resting before doing it again in the morning. My goal is another thousand miles tomorrow ... and I am loving every minute of it.

Tomorrow is Colorado, Utah, and into Oregon for sure. The roads in Texas and New Mexico were amazing - long, open, flat, and in good shape. And, no traffic. I took a picture of a cop that pulled up along side of me at 75MPH and wanted to drag race. Unreal. What a fun trip.

I am passing everything but gas stations. Pictures of the new baby when I get home ...
