There ya go, man! NICE!!! LOL!

The last Katrina evacuee, finally heads back East towards New Orleans!!!!!

    Look out!!!

We should have got a picture with some Longhorns, but ya'll get the general idea!

The best is what you do NOT see, which previously was a rapidly spreading puddle of fuel under the car as the old lines went off like a sprinkler system!

New fuel lines, filter, air filter element....which way to the Quarter Powered Car Wash!???

Don't know if you noticed but SOMEONE was working in the rear of Foyt Enterprises, even as Valeria and I returned later....black unmarked Suburban was outside........;)

Yea, we bar hopped as far as the Waller Texas CITGO station, using the 'found' change from under the seats! :D :D :D

Found the missing knob from the Choke Lever under there and reinstalled it, too...nothing to the Restoration Business!

I parked it in Lady Valeria's driveway and ordered a full interior shampoo and cleaning of 'her' car...she said "I don't THINK so......."

Thanks Tarek. It was indeed a turning point to get #3 on the road again!

Happy New Year to you as well!

    2008 is gonna be BETTER! :D :D :D

No Will, we coin tossed over swapping plates with #22127, and decided the 2005 Oregon plates and OEM Ron Tonkin frame was appropriate for the "Well, officer we JUST got it running and are nursing it to the Repair Shop" story we were going to give Law Enforcement!

I had to resist temptation to race the babe in the 911 Cabrio we ran across entering Houston City Limits..there will be other days!

Off to Vintage Motorcars for clutch and brakes!

    I like to have those options......:D :D :D

Besides, #20405 is wearing #22127's plates and stickers, already!!!!!

It's VERY interesting that State of Texas is building a database currently, matching VINs to Insurance Coverage..

I had gotten notice of it from my carrier, and as I have not Titled two of my cars yet, solved it by moving all three Ferraris and the Trans Am to a Collector Policy....you do not need to Title them if they are in a "collection".....off the road.....

Now the State has seen insurance on them I do not know if the will pursue Title issues or not, obviously they are interested in the Fees.......although Tx DOT employees just sigh when they enter my old 5 digit VINs.....:D

i looked inside and the attached piece was cracked so i couldnt "rig" it... after reading some of the steps to attach the new one.. i'll need a puller and even a certain size wrench.. i think im just going to take it to Driver Source, they can do it in about an hour and a half lol

keep your eyes peeled for the next get together.. i think we are trying to schedule one soon.. i'll come by that day!
