I know a lot of you guys deposit your motors with London/South Eastern specialists etc and often mention your experiences good and bad, but I wanted to mention that our local specialist - Bob Houghton has to be one of the best around, if not the best.

Having tinkered with my car last night, accomplished the job, I was most happy, that is until I tried to adjust the climate system and activate the alarm system. That's when I realised I should stick to the day job:)

Panic set in given our trip this weekend to Wales. Quick phone call to BH, get the car over to Northleach asap, and within an hour - sorted, extremely reasonably too!

They are an excellent professional specialist dealership and are always willing to help their customers. My 348 may not be the most important car in the workshop, but you'll get the same level of service/committment as if you were one of their F40 customers.

Always think its worth posting when our dealers deserve a mention.

Did you see my old mans car there?

Its a silver 456 GTA being fettled before the Graypaul trip next month.

Always worth a look around the workshop to drool at the cars. Nick Masons 250 GTO gets serviced there IIRC

What were you tinkering with Julian? (Just so I know the type of things to leave to Bob in the future)!

Yep - guessed it was your old man's - looked rather splendid in the sunshine - getting prepped for the big one! (can't wait) Actually - it stood out a fair bit - good colour combo.

They had a gorgeous 355 spider (tdf), received it Saturday, sold it Monday! They're shifting a lot of cars. Saw Eugenes yellow Dino basking in the sunshine..lovely car, we'll have to convince him to get out on the drives:)

Well i did this minor mod (which worked by the way!). Boosted up the Air Recirculation system. So I put the luggage compartment back together - did that ok, and suddenly the climate system wouldn't work, and neither would the alarmed remote locking (that was easy to fix). The failure of climate system was a coincidence, but it needed the experience of Saurab to fix it. It caused a few laughs....!
