    Howdy y'all. Emily, Mac and I are back in Boston and I'm up for another round of law school. We had a great trip back and are moved into a nice new apartment complex (where utilities are included - a wonderful hedge against the newly reported 70% natural gas price hike this winter). I'm very excited about parking in a covered complex where digging my car out of the snow is a thing of the past.

    I had a really fun summer and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of activities that were hosted by the group. I was happy to make many new friends and spend time with older friends. It's such a comfortable and welcoming crowd, I can't imagine a more involved group of car guys.

    As for Texas and the Alexanders, who knows. Unfortunately, I will not be going back to the firm I worked with - while no one derided my work product or hours billed, it was just not a personality fit. Better to find that out now during a summer.

    In any case, we'll be back for Christmas vacation, and I hope we can meet up for a lunch or dinner at that time!

    Glad you enjoyed the FChat DFW group. Great people. Sorry that we did not get a chance to meet, but I have been flying under the radar this summer with too much to do and not enough time to do it all. As for your summer at the firm, you are better off leaving them behind. Not a very good place unless you like to eat and sleep at work. But, with a Haaavaad law degree, you are destined to succeed and I am sure you will have lots of 3L OCI options. Good luck. Hope you meet you next time you roll through Dallas.

    Yeah, life there was imbalanced - the funny thing was that I was eating and sleeping at work to fit in, but they said I didn't do it with enough intensity!
