Thanks Robb for sharing with me your knowledge about these fantastic Challenge cars especially the 355`s. Your info was great when it came down to making the final decision. The "last VIN check" has now got a new home Robb;-)
The VIN info put me in contact with the previous caretakers and got me started on what to me is the most important thing: understanding the car`s racing history.
Even though the search for its racing history has just started, I can`t wait to gather it all.
Then to ALL you guys posting in the Challenge section- please keep it up- your info is highly appreciated and is making the passion for these fantastic racing machines even stronger.
    Complimenti fratellos...

Can't wait to see more photos. Looks great. It will be a fun and rewarding process to chase down its full history.

The 355 Challenge is a 1995 raced by Dr Peter Worm and Tony Ring(Ferrari Challenge veteran-15 years of participating I believe) It has been racing at Spa, Monza and even at Zhuhai in China among other tracks. In 1997-2000 the car was raced by another german team located in Hamburg, but from that periode I don`t have any info yet. In 2000 the car was then exported to Sweden and then street registered:). During the next 7 years, a finish team "Team F40" raced it for some periode in the Scandianvian series. And finally it was bought by its recent owner.
Upon the purchase I decided to do an complete engine out service. Just wanted to make sure everything is up to date before starting her up after lots of years "in the back of the barn". So thats where it is now. Unfortunately the car is not Corona Extra decorated anymore but still looking stunning in Giallo Modena. Will post some pictures later. To be continued...
BTW if you have any suggestions which team from Hamburg that might have raced it, I would certainly appreciate the info.
