Interesting story on this header.... A couple of days after buying the 1995 F355 from the F dealer (5 years ago), another shop that I had inspect the car (post-purchase-inspection..lol), found a leak in the header. After taking it back to the F dealer, the dealer shop tech said that the header got dinged (actually heat shield) when the axle bottomed out onto the header near the Cat side (not my doing), but they claimed it was me and said that is why the header was leaking. I was a newbie at that time and took their offer of buying a new oem header at cost and them putting in for free. It will be good info to find if the header was actually bad and not some ding in the heat shield which I find now laughable, but cost me a couple of grand back then. Glad to be of assistance.
I'll certainly let you know. I'm out of town next week but when I get back I'll remove the heat shield and post up some pics.
