Thanks to Dan for showing me a great time in the Bay area last week. I got to meet Rich, Tony Palladino, drive Skyline, talk to Art on a cell phone, and go to the city to meet a few business contacts, with Dan showing me the sites the whole time. Dan, hopefully I will get a chance to return the favour in the near future. Thanks for the great time. We will have to do it again.

    Ryan,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner - been a little more than crazy. I'll call over the weekend.

As for thanks - it is to you I owe thanks. After all, you were kind enough to grace a mere mortal with your time! :D I only wish we had a chance to check up on CM (who *needs* to drive his cars - I was down there on Saturday), go for a ride, spank you thoroughly on a kart, etc.

But then, these things can all be left for next time. It seems I will likely be at your doorstep soon enough, as you know.

Oh - and when's the 550 being delivered? Because I *know* you want one! :D

Thanks again. It was my sincere pleasure. Regards to the better half,

    --Dan

PS: You're still an a$$. I summarily went home, and spent a good three hours looking at prices, State Vehical Recreational Areas, etc. :D

Oh, and without Ryan I would not have discovered that the 550 has a wonderful cooling feature built in for it's passengers. Did you know that up to a cup full of water may be dispensed at will into the passenger compartment? :D Too bad we didn't get to make use of the bubble-gum.

That's not a cooling feature - it's help for those passengers who turn white from the driver's incredible skill. Somehow, it only comes out when the car is being pushed by true driving skill :D. LOL!! Anyways, that was tons of fun. All I can say is I had that bubble gum ready to go for a true McGuyver-esque solution.

But you're right. The stealth factor and incredible torque has me thinking. Besides, that's a car that I can drive every day.

    Vincent. Four is right:

    550 daily
F40 with whatever you need done to it
Daytona Spider for the long weekend jaunt.
250 GT Cali for the Vintage Scene

Four cars to do it all.
