I have taken a lot from Ferrari Chat. Now I believe I have an opportunity to give back. I am going to give a pectoral of what I did to get around the hard parts for me. The first picture is a schematic pictorial that another member sent to me. It was really helpful. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This how to get the small square hard rubber in the pin that goes all way from the right hand of the gear shift box to the left and exiting out of the gear shift box into the small square with a hole in the center of the rubber piece. The dot is the square piece and the other dot is the very end of the pin that will go into the square rubber piece. Look at the wood next to the square piece. This just a bunch of wood paint stirrers put together until I get the right thickness against the square rubber piece. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Then tap the dowel against the pin (flat round surface) with the wood paint stirrers on the other side. Make sure the dowel is long as shown as it will be ergonomically easier to tap the pin into the round, flat part of the piston shaped pin. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You will save yourself a lot of time if you get this clamp. They are cheap at harbor Freight. Here you can see the clamp compressing 22,23 24, and 25 into the gear shift box which is spring loaded. Use a 14 mm socket between the clamp and number 24. See the spring clip? Once everything is compressed with clamp use a straight spring clip pliers to put the spring clip in its place. You are free of the long clamp as it is holding everything in place while you secure the spring clip. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The plastic mail/female plastic "link" (I can't remember the name) for the Image Unavailable, Please Login emergency brake is under the carpet.
I use this cushion on the seat. I have nightmare's of my knee cracking the leather or slipping a seam.
