In general shape, it's kind of a Boxster nose, diguised by the use of flat black paint. The pictures on the forum of the black one at an auto show
are very revealing, though, because there is more sculpture going on than is evident in the pictures of other color versions of the 458. the biggest mistake I pointed out in my design review of the car is that LEDs were trick when they started the design but now if you go to an auto parts store they are selling LED kits for all kinds of cars so that "exclusive" trickled down fast to the aftermarket. Anyhow here's a review I wrote before I saw the car in person, which I guess won't happen until the LA Auto Show in November or even later. No doubt present owners of Ferraris will be invited to special exclusvive previews --contact your dealer to see if he can get you in. I went to such a preview show of the California at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica and they had a beautiful book (hardbound) and a model Ferrari to give out.

    Porsche Boxster?

    ???

You must be seeing animals in clouds, friend. Don't see any Porsche anything in the 458.
