    We've all experienced it.

    At least those of us with jobs.

    But you never talk about it.

    It is inevitable and goes away regardless of what you do.

    I'm experiencing it right now.

    I bet some of you are too.....

    It's....

    That sad-bored-restless-anxious feeling you get the night before you return to work after being on vacation.

    I'm going to bed at 9:30 so I don't have to experience any more of it.

    know the feeling...slightly different now that I'm back in school. I miss a lot of things about "the real world", but that sad/restless/bored/anxious feeling ain't one of them!

    I'm definitely "familied-out" after four days and three sets of parents/in-laws. Weather sucks (32 degress and sleet) so you just want to stay inside, but you also feel so bloated after eating for three days you don't even want to make a nice dinner or go out.

    A part of me is looking forward to going back to work, but then I will miss my little girl if I have a spare moment and my thoughts drift tomorrow. I'm taking only two days vacation at Christmas, but will end up with 11 days in a row off. It will be like this no doubt, only worse.

    All things considered though, still pretty good to be alive and to have my life.

    After working on a remodeling project Thursday, Friday and Saturday, then replacing heater hoses on the Ferrari on Sunday, I'm ready for a work day.

    i'm going through it now, gotta go to class in the morning after being off for a week, at least i only have this week and the next is finals, only one of those this semester. but, i have 3 tests and 2 papers this week, ouch.

    That's the worst thing about holidays and vacations, that last day before you have to go back to reality. I spent 4 hours yesterday volunteering at the county museum as a tour guide, so it kept me busy. I was the only one under 60, but that's OK.
