Tina, thats without any doubt a beautiful car. But for 100K (what is already the price tag) to less car and to less engine.

    a used Gallardo, blue.

But I don't really need it beside my 355. :)
Probably a vintage 12-Zylinder makes more sense to me.
A nice 330 GTC or something like that... azzuro or silver.

Yes, it is a very beautiful & cute car - Anja is also in love the 246GTS - but does it worth 100K???? Would you spent 100K for a dino?

I'd buy the best 512 BB you can find. Fun car and I think value will rise faster than TR's.

Countash's IMO will rise over time as well but they're not for everyone.

    Best

So, you like the carb over the injectors?

    What about a 365 BB?

    Just curious, Dale

The replicars out of South Africa are as close to the real deal as you can come. Including the engine. Only difference is, that you get A/C and some sound proofing with it.

Also there is a shop near Detroit that is in the process of making some really good replicas that you can either track in Hockenheim or go flat out on the Autobahn with:

Maybe a Kurzheck would be more appropriate? :)

@ Jim, thanks for your input my friend. Yes, the 512 BB CARB is a dream car.

@Dale, I would also and always prefer the carb instead of the injec. he car. is the real beast beast with the better sound and the prices are climing higher and higher.

I wouldn't buy it either. Just like what you said, it lacks soul. I just mentioned it because it is in the price range. But if I were in your place, seriously, I would keep the money and save a bit more and get an F430.

Damn, thats exactly WHY I bought a singel seater - I was tired of hearing the passenger/wifey: dont drive so fast, look here, look there, watch out, take care, slow down....uuuuuuh, ohhhh, aaah....a.s.o.

    LMAO...!

...sorry, I couldn't control that outburst... If you could find either one of those models for under $130,000 or at or under 100,000 Euros, you'd better take it straight to the factory for a PPI... Just my two cents...

Wolfie, I think I'm with Bruce on this, although I don't know how much change you'll have left over after buying a well-sorted 512 TR... That really sounds like the best way to go... Of course, a 355 Berlinetta wouldn't be a bad way to go, either... :)
