As former owner of California and possible buyer of a Portofino at some point, I see a distinct difference The Portofino is the perfect every day driver for those of us who live in sunny locales. Drop the top when we want (which will be often) but leave it up when we want. Hardtop means its almost as good as a coupe with top up. The Roma doesnt have the droptop element so it doesnt perform those tasks. A Roma softtop wont be as coupe-like as a hardtop so it also doesnt perform both tasks. While im sure some will cross shop, for most of us i think the distinction is important and why there is a market for both. IMO the Roma will never sell as well as the Portofino because of its limited use. Its a really understated 'go to dinner' car as opposed to the Portofino which is a 'lets have fun every minute of the day' car.
If that really is it i will pose the question ‘how is Manzoni still employed?’ ...and a second question; the rumors were that this is the second FUV they designed as the first was scrapped, what did the first one look like?
This is the Ferrari Elkann made so it can support the entire Fiat empire. He took the brilliance that LdM had created and here ya go.
I don’t mind an SUV. This just looks very ordinary. But then again, most Ferraris are starting to look very ordinary.
SF90 VS = Assetto Fiorano, I guess..as per Ferr9000 and ppg70's previous posts: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/146503361/ "Special Series for this car? Ferrari has prepared something different this time" ...and: "Special Series.....yes something different!".
This is the v12 purosangue. Except 300k price and maybe 789hp with carbon fiber rims as an option. V6 hybrid and other models ar later time.
I'm disappointed it's for the SUV, but I guess it was always going to be a big, heavy car so why not? I still hope for a modern small-displacement V12 but I know it will never happen.
You're definitely right about it. Thoroughbred = Purosangue, they didn't use that word by chance. https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/magazine/articles/the-heart-of-a-thoroughbred
I heard it may be the v12 that was promised to be more powerful than what is I. The 812 competitionize
