Great excuse to get out and drive for a good cause! The 2008 FreedomRun Charity Exotic/Luxury Car Cruise Benefiting the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, and widow/single-mother college scholarships. Saturday August 9th, beginning at 11:00am at Thanksgiving Point. Participants will receive a a windshield banner, a FreedomRun polo shirt, gift prizes, and maps with driving information. The drive will head through the Alpine Loop, beverages will be served at the summit. From there it's onward to Park City, participants wearing the FreedomRun shirt will enjoy free snacks along Main Street - Ice cream, pizza, chocolate...etc. From there the group will head down to Miller Motorsports Park via Emigration Canyon. At Miller, participants will be able to do several laps on the track, (they wont be full hot laps as helmets etc are required for that... but it will be a good pace) and tour the museum. Afterwards, dinner will be served in the clubhouse, with raffle prizes. $200 for a single driver add $100 if there's a passenger. Let me know if you're interested.
