Congratulations on the owning TWO Ferraris. The best of both Worlds - 12 and 8 cylinders. They certainly look very nice together! I wish you many, many years and miles of driving pleasure!

Congratulations. Maybe you can give us an unbiased comparison of the two cars. Performance, handling, interior comfort, etc. I almost went with a Testarossa, but I my 6' 220lb body was more comfortable in the 348. I never got to compare performance.

Alright he is my comparison so far:

    The 348:
    1) Better handeling
    2) Better Ferrari sound
    4) More user freindly (more of a everyday car)
    5) Better AC ( but still underwelming!)
    6) Less notchy shifter
    7) I do not like the door panels ...

    The testarossa:
    1) More power and torque
    2) More interior room
    3) Distinquished (more people immediately recognize the testarossa as a ferrari)
    4) Very expensive to keep!
    5) Love the interior

Right now ... if I had to chose ... I'd keep the spider.

Two worst Ferraris ... ya like having sex with the two ugliest supermodels!

Love the comparison to tapping the ugliest two supermodels!! :)

They do lookk really cool sitting next to each other. Bullfighter is calming me down to not add a 328 to my 348, and said he would do exactly what you would do and he would add the Testarossa to his 328.

Keep the updates coming but also like your take on likes for each car. Drive them safely and enjoy - DOUBLE the FUN!

beautiful 348 spyder.. can you clarify 348 better exhaust sound? do you mean high pitch and rpm vs the Testa?

Both cars have a wonderful sound, and both have stock exhaust ... it is just that the 348 is a more free reving ... high strung ... more of the traditional ferrari race car sound. The testarossa is much quiter deeper ... powerful engine sound .... not high strung race car ish.

Bee Jay, I know what you mean!! I am only 5'9" and weight 220 (no flames, it's not fat), so I know Ferraris (especially the pre-F360 ones) are designed for tall, thin individuals with very long arms. Sometimes I feel as though my back is resting on the seat side bolsters, not in the seat. But, I guess these are just the little sacrifices we have to make to drive an F-car......
