Thanks James, much appreciated. However, I don't think we will be using race plugs now. We are going to try some Lambo plugs instead and see how they work out.
We gave up a few weeks ago. Too much money and time wasted on it. Sold it on ebay and the guy who purchased it told me he's turning it into a coffee table.
Sy- I'm very curious about the weight of the valve train. The stock 348 lifters and biscuits seem heavy and your motor has obviously used different ones. If you get a chance, will you weigh yours, measure diameter, and give me some approximate idea of the shim size? Rock on, man, beautiful project!
