I was in Monterey for the annual car weekend. The 360's were like Honda Accords. There were countless 430's. Pretty as they may be. The few 348's that I saw actually looked great, and exotic! As they should! The cars had road presence. I am glad that I have kept mine for over 16 years.

One of the things that attracted me to exotics, is the exotic look....as well as the performance. The newer cars are just too bland compared to the pre-Montezemola cars.

The 348 still has the wedge shape, whereas Ferrari progressively rounded off most of what came later as if eggshells were sexy.

Funnily enough, I was admiring the shape of my 348 today while parked up.

It just has that low sexy look..... mmmmmmmmm

Plus, it's so rare to see one on the road that everyone notices it.

You have done well there. :)
348's have the classic and exotic shape! Always have....always will. :)

"Eggshells"? Hmmm. How about "Jelly Beans". The car designing world has jelly-beaned about everything on the road. The exceptions are the squared-off SUVs and Scions.

I agree that the 348 looks grate ;) and is easily noticed on the road. At the car shows / events I have been to the 348 is one of the rarest modern Ferraris in attendance. Glad to hear you all are still enjoying the cars!

My exact thoughts. I still catch myself staring at it when I park it on the streets as if it wasn't even mine. Amazing, I just don't see the love dying anytime soon either.

I have had a number of Ferrari's, including a 308QV, a couple of Mondials (coupe/t cab), TR and an F40. I do regret selling the F40, but the 348 has been a keeper. It is definitely underated and thankfully......produced in smaller numbers.

    Texas of course!
can't agree with you all more! Same thing here!

Obviously not a “car man”, but an excited on looker asked if it was a 2006. The sounds are terrific and it has a lot of the “exotic” flare many of the modern ones are missing.

I just don’t get the people with a Ferrari before or after this series that think its more dated then it is timeless in style, but nor do any of the people I run into with this car for that matter, so who cares? lol

Can't agree more, just got back from a 2 week holiday and first thing i did was to take the 348 out for a loooooong drive. I parked up by a picnic area and just admired it from a short distance, and boy does it attract admiring looks from passers by. Looks better by the day.

i compare the drive in a 360 as a "fast mitsubishi eclipse" it does have some wow factor but the drive does nothing for me.

Man, how long until some 348 bashing arrives? I can't believe it has lasted this long without anyone from the 328 or 355 camp chiming in. Positive energy, for sure!

The 348 is cr@p. Outdated and missing even the most basic of creature comforts. It has no cupholders!!!

ok, ok, just kidding :D Seriously speaking, I think the 348 is massively underrated, and just looks amazing. It also drives very well - for its era. And not to forget, being a Tubi decat, it sounds FANTASTIC :D

I like mine so much that in all honesty, at this point in time, I would only consider selling it if I were replacing it with an F40 or F50. That's how much I like that car :)

That makes 3 of us brother. I've never had/driven a car which commands so much attention from the general public. The cheese grates are also eye catchers. I love my 348 more, as each day passes.

I agree with Ingenere - I had my 348 spider up in Monterey and fully expected it to be lost in the crowd of exotica, but I had heaps of comments, looks, etc.

    Cheers
