Well, I kinda/sorta agree w/u .... but as i've said repeatedly: It may look like a brick, sound like a chainsaw and be built by Hyundai/KIA (take your pick) but if it works like a Ferrari .... sign me up!!! I'm sure that's not a popular viewpoint. <LOL>

As for the "Scud." I'll wait until I hear from an owner I trust (yes, you pal, if you're reading this <big G>) before I get all excited.

Ie; My F430 is more fun on the track than my Adrenaline Racing tuned (w/some help from pete stackhouse and the crew @ TC Kline racing) M3. But if it weren't for the HUGE power advantage (490 vs 333) the F430 enjoys .... i' be faster in the M3.

Ergo: i'm not about to buy another Ferrari unless it's faster than my M3 due to handling .... not simply more HP.


BTW, i'm not an anomaly. There's at least one other F430 owner on the forum who feels like I do.

Finally: To Ferrari et al, WE LOVE YOU .... but *please* give us a *true* sportscar w/real world ergos and etc!

I know everyone is excited about this car but, Performance aside, I think I like the lines of my 430 better.
The 430 looks more classic yet modern next the the Scuderia. I dont love the shape of the front intakes and spoiler.
Its definetly more aggressive looking. The 430 looks like it flows, kinda of the way the 360 looked when the 430 1st came out.
JMO

 

Can't wait for "Top gear" and "fifth gear" reviews on the car. Maybe Clarkson can do 430Scuderia Vs. 997GT3 RS like he did with CS and 996 GT3RS

As Lung can bprob confirm we were told thats a new Rosso Corsa colour (metalico) or metalic to us. looks very nice close to Scuderia.

Car was great sound was not as impressive as the CS but the performance and handling stack up.

;-( So they need to start making them and quick, or as we have assumed their all going straight to Ferrari for the Scuderia!!!

These two are not the same color I believe...it is not the effect of light if I am not mistaken...the first is rosso corsa, and the second should be this new metallic F1 red.
