What? Another blue 550? Thought these were rare? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-ferrari-550-maranello-36/#comments-anchor
According to Ferrari, blue production peaked at about 14% for all Ferrari models in 1998 and was about 10% in 1999. Likely higher than that for the V12 models.

1999 550 in Blu Nart <5k miles coming to RM in Monterey No affiliation https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/listing/1999-ferrari-550-maranello-monterey-california-2805311?utm_medium=email&utm_source=saved_search&utm_campaign=2024-07-09&uemlid=5eb6039998764528d6cab20dfb5a8efb1f272bee1526e2fdac38b039f1b34d46
Someone is letting a beautiful car go with never really giving himself the opportunity to appreciate how great his 550 is.
It’s just going from collection to collection. 8-( if we took the 940 US 550’s….amd the 580 575’s….what percentage of the US ONLY….are over 25k miles… (cause Europeans actually drive). I really would love to know that stat. if you increase the threshold to 30k miles…I bet it’s less than 30% of the cars that are over 30k miles?
Now dueling 456 with this one on @otoupalik Brad's favorite site, C&B https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3y2ypyX7/1997-ferrari-456-gta?utm_source=listing_alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=hero
Windows, airbag light, AND rear shocks on a nearly 40k mile non-M GTA with numerous additional minor issues? Lucky if this car hits 45k. Hardly a dual more a blood bath.
Accident car but I will admit, well presented with recent belt + rear shock rebuilt. Will be interesting to see where this one settles at for us MGTA owners.
The "problem" is it appears collectors have discovered Maranellos. Because the cars are not driven much, they don't care about deferred maintenance. What they want are low mileage cars. This means enthusiasts are going to be looking at high-mileage, but well maintained cars.
The Blackhorse Motorsports repair order for the GTA on BAT is insanely cheap. How you even get 2 accumulators for $220 is beyond me.
They used the BMW alternative part. If savy, can get the OE accumulator from BMW discount vendor for under $300. I got a pair for around $270 shipped to my door and I dont have any special discounts.
Man, is it just subpar 456 week or what? https://carsandbids.com/auctions/9X7ejJjr/1995-ferrari-456-gt?utm_source=listing_alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=hero Another one dropping... Two 6 speeds and two GTAs going at once
I looked at that really rough Verde Silverstone car in Miami last year, I don't think this shade of green is the best on these.... But then again I'm partial to my Verde Mugello 456. The two cars on BaT are presented by two of the best regular sellers... And the ones on C&B are looking like they rolled out of bed and decided they wanted to be sold today.... Striking presentation differences
I just clicked thru the photos of the C&B one.....wow. That window gap is "legit"....8-( Cosmetically its surprising someone would sell online rather than just trade it in wholesale. Someone should theoretically get a manual at a very low price.
Let me remind you guys the last 456 on cars and bids with almost 50,000 miles and lots wrong with it sold for just under 70,000 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Right but what about that Grigio Ingrid one.....i get it a GTA...but.....$39k?! I feel dumb for not buying that one but I just don't have any space. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-ferrari-456m-gta-5/ 456's can be ALL over the map....
The evidence will be in the hammer prices in just a few days. I predict a blood bath on C&B, personally.
If you’ve been looking to buy a 456 nows the time. Theres never been so much examples to choose from and nows a great time to get into the 90s v12s
