comprared to the CS! but incredible how amazing both of them are! the 612 pulls on the CS pretty hard in a straight line but in the corners the 612 feels so soft compared to the CS. they both make amazing sounds as they rev. think im gonna have to disconnect the hoses on both to get some growl!

I agree - went on a good two hour run this weekend with some hard driving after a few mod changes.

Switching to the 599 Mono's 20 inch set up the car was even better. It does have light steering but in sport and those tubes off the Sport exhaust, pushing the rev's its pretty impressive. Even the group noticed a large / impressive sound change. If you look at the Ferrari tack times I am almost positive the 2005 612 stock takes the CS.

Really!! I would have never believed the 612 can come close to the CS, even in a straight line!..

The big V12s make impressive power all across the rev range and provide even more impressive torque in the low and mid-range. To give you an example, there is not much difference between a 575/612 and a 430 in a rolling start in a straight line. Standing start is different, and so are the twisties.

Ricky- Sport mode only speeds the shift times and stiffens the shock absorbers. It does not affect the bypass valve operation.

There is a huge difference in shifts and handling - I believe the car behaves a lot better and shifts cleaner / faster in sport mode. I never take it out of sport mode.
