I know two guys that have the RC 599's, one is former ceo of Oilexco Arthur Millholland, and the other gentlemans name slips my mind right now but he would be mid 60's, very nice guy!
I know Art M and it wasn't him.........could have been th eother guy but I had him pegged at mid 50's....... Vasco....... Yep......picanha and linguica.
Well, I don't think I would ever apply as that guy who guess's your age at the circus, so I might be out bt a few years, and if it was him I do apologize. LOL
Heh.......who knows eh ? I also know Wayne E.......another Rossa Corsa 599 owner here in town......that could be who you are talking about.....but it wasn't him I saw either. He's been a customer of mine for 10 years now and the 599 he bought was the one on display at the auto show last year. A great guy and a real car nut.
Art lives near my Mother and has a couple of F-cars in the garage. Always a pleasure to see them out. There is one RC 599 residing in Mt. Royal. He has it out often...
Yes art shows up for coffee and cars a lot and sometimes it's the F430 and sometimes it's the 599 he chooses. Anybody here go to coffee and cars on Saturdays?
Where is it? I could drop by. Unless of course if its an exotic only club, in which case I might not be eligible... yet.
It is at Calgary Aston Martin/Bentley in the Glendeer Circle. Anybody can show up and look at the cars or enjoy a refreshment. I am not sure if they have started up for this year yet or not. Maybe in a couple of weeks. It usually is best between 9-11 AM
Just a heads up, there are two new Lambos in Alberta. A pearl white LP560 in Calgary and a green LP640 roadster in Edmonton.
Always nice to have a few more lambos in alberta.I saw a nice white gallardo in Airdrie last Sunday.I was loading groceries in the family car turned around and there it was in a superstore parking lot of all places.Looked good and sounded good i bet he did not like the speed bumps though..
Done, let me know when, I will get back to you, I have about 8 exams in this week and the next, so this weekend would be pushing it, but starting next weekend sure thing.
Saw A grey Z06 today in downtown, plate LIV42DA It had some after market gauges on the pillar, and by the sounds of it I think it was turbo'd?
Since the Alberta section seems a tad slow, I will post of couple pics of my car I took yesterday in Fish Creek and one of the garage. Been there done that, great cars those Z06's, had a couple, had Davenports S/C on one them. You can bag on them all day and all night, they just keep on ticking!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow Tony, Great Shot's, And a very nice garage, Hugger Orange 68 or 69? I especially like the plate. LoL Cheers!
Definitely a '69. My favorite muscle car in my favorite color. Nice little garage there! Here's another Calgary garage I came across on my trip there last week -- despite my friendly disposition the owner did not wish to take me up on my offer to take one off his hands: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yea, as Tanner said, it is a 1969. It is a Yenko 427 Tribute, I don't have $250,000-$1,250,000 to spend on a real one, so, as these cars are not around anymore I made this one to show people what these cars were all about waay back when. Some people don't like Clones, but these types don't bother me, it is either come and see a clone or just read about them in books, cause as I said, there just is not any around to appreciate. It even has the bias ply tires and single transverse muffler into to small tailpipes like they came from the factory. Ohhh man. I thought that it looked like a COPO of some kind. Your car collection reflects great taste, IMO. Awesome, awesome cars!! PS - The details in your Yenko build look spot on and top notch. Love the pictures, thanks for sharing.
http://truthindetailing.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=2473 That is a very nice article on one amazing person.
So where is everyone.. Let me guess at home putting a log in the fireplace!! At this rate wont be driving till June. Can't believe I'm turning my furnace up in instead of my A/C! cheers
I took my AC cover off a few weeks back as the forecast said 20's.....I was prepping for summer and sun....but got snow and sh*t.
At least on the in between days I've been able to see a few cars: White DBS, Red AMV8, Black GT-R, Jet blue metallic Audi R8, Verde Ithica LP-640
