And, on another note... rumour has it that someone we all know very well has now installed twin superchargers in his Spider. I'm going down to check it out today. Can't wait to hear that thing.
Well, the timing didn't quite work out today. However, tomorrow I am going to make a point of heading down to ZR Auto to check out the car. 2Nastie said that the highlight today was watching flames shoot out of the tailpipes. Oh man, I can't wait...
Gentlemen, I have never been so thrilled with a car since my F40. This Novitec transformation is unreal. It sounds amazing (like an F1) with the new Novitec design exhaust, extremely quick, stable, braking, wild !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the whole transformation with photos and video on the build and will be making a movie once I get it on the road especially at night. Yes 18 inches of flames on each side on demand. ZR
Maybe it's time to bring your favorite test drive back to Canada . I want to see, hear, smell that SUPER 360 !!! You better bring her to Vegas.. Can't wait to see the video. Again, the ZR man will smoke us all and on top, he will burn our noses if to closer!! Roland F40LM
I would have to say that is the wildest car I have ever heard in my life. The superchargers are tucked away in the two furthest corners of the engine bay. New carbon fiber housings around the intercoolers and air intakes are the first thing that catches your eye. Around back, the Novitec exhaust tips are noticeably bigger than Tubi or Capristo. Also, they sit square inside what looks like custom Novitec challenge grills. The car sits lower than I thought possible. Ellery, the mechanic, measured a stock 360 and the Novitec 360 and said that the 2Nastie's Novitec is sitting a full 2 inches lower than stock. From the front, it looks impossibly low. Wild. When I asked about wheel rub and whatnot, everyone agreed that there was none at low and high speeds, although a simple fender roll was required up front. I'm definitely going to look into a Novitec suspension upgrade for my own car. The car just looks so mean, sitting so low. And with skid plates, front end spoiler scrape would be a non-issue. The sound... let's just say that it is unbelievable. Upon ignition, it sounds like a shotgun going off. At idle, it's the meanest and angriest exhaust note I've ever encountered. I could not even hear my own voice, it was so overwhelming. At throttle blip, it sounded like lightning exploding a foot away. 2Nastie is a madman possessed! He said that he has created a Lambo eater. Get too close, and the flames will roast all Lambos in the vicinity. Absolutely crazy stuff.
Hello Glenn, thanks for making us drewl...I sure hope that the ZR man will bring that monster to Vegas..You guys have some serious hardware in Calgary and I'm already thinking of your event in June. See you in Vegas Roland F40LM
Saw a 360 modena in the west hills safeway parking lot. It was red parked way in the back of the lot.
3 pics from the ZR group at the Edmonton Car Show this weekend; 1 of the AM DB9. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw an older Lambo near the Canyon Medows golf course. It was parked at the front gates running. Didnt see the plates but it looked like an older gentleman siting in the drivers seat.
Hiya sir. The red one is. Unless Zahir sold it on me! That DB9 is sexy though. Don't tell him I'm two-timing.
Some nice cars there. I especially like the DB9. I saw an Arnage T driving in Mount Royal today. Was yellow and looked like a convertible :S My sister drove us today. Was scary saying my hail marys all the way.
You saw an Azure... probably one of the ugliest or most pimpy (depending on your personal taste) out there... Yellow with blue leather and roof!
yea it was the weirdest thing. I couldnt remeber what kind of car it was and it was driving me crazy when we were at chinook. But then I saw the car in the parking lot at chinook and got a good look at it. But it didnt have any emblems other than the Bentley one on the front. It was a nice car but I would rather have a ferrari or maserati for the money
Also weird is that someone would be driving that car in this weather. Unusual colo(u)r choice, for sure.
There was a Yellow Bentley ordered here at Grand Touring (Toronto Bentley) years ago and I believe it was an Azzure. I bet it's the same one. From what I was told it was a Doctor. I love the car but that colour is very "iffy". I think this guy needs to see a doctor LOL. Vasco.R
Dont suppose that person works for a company called "Winroc." My dad worked for Winroc and the presidant had a 360 modena. It was registered to arizona plates. a few other people had nice cars there too. A few jags and a NSX Suprised to see another spotting today. Saw a 308 parked in the Ikea parking lot today. Twas a day off and figured me and my mom would go to ikea just for fun. Suprising thing was was it had really really wide tires on it. On a differant topic. I dont suppose that the ZR Auto people would appreaciate a "teen" in the shop. I have wanted to go down there for a while and havent still.
I am still researching these fine horses. I like several of the ZRAUTO machines. Besides ZRAUTO staff who would you recommend for a Pre-Purchase Inspection in Calgary? On a 88-90 Testarossa? On a 328 or 348? Thanks in advance.
Hey Martin, Neg on the Winroc. We work for ourselves at our own company, which isn't named as mentioned. Soz. I can't believe people are driving Bentleys and Ferraris around in the snow. While the main roads are mostly clear of the white stuff, there's still so much gravel on the roads. Speaking of ZR Auto, you should go down and check it out. It's for enthusiasts of all ages.
Hey Dino, i've been to zr a couple of times with my buddies just drool for an hour or so and they don't seem to mind. the fella on the floor always shakes my hand and gives the 411 on the cars. good people. although, i think they're touchy about who enters their maintenance shop, with good reason though. the yellow azure, it's an interesting sight in calgary. my dad and i met the owner at a car show last year in stanley park. he is a doctor and a really nice guy. it's really nice to talk to people with special cars and they actually give you the time of day. true story: i used to live in pumphill, and when i would go on my runs i would always jog past flemming wong's palace (he owns lonestar benz, landrover cgy) down the main hill. i had heard from a friend he had some nice cars in his garage which is atleast 3 lengths deep. one day, he was moving some sport bikes into his house with his buddy and had the 3 garage doors open. there were atleast 5-6 cars under covers inside, but i could make out the rear of a white diablo and what looked like a testarossa. the cl55 was in the driveway. i walked up and said hello and asked if it was infact a diablo, and flemming screamed no, ran inside closed the doors and told me to get the F off of the driveway. i guess he wasn't a morning person.. can anyone shed some light regarding the track meet in june? ferrari owners only? enthusiests welcome? great idea starting this thread, it will keep us warm until the snow and salt disappear! Ryan
I saw that meet thing in stanley park. My dad didnt want to stop though so I didnt get to see anything up close. There is supposed to be a car show at the sun center here in SW Calgary this weekend. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Though no ferraris there will be: Porsche Mercedes BMW Audi and a few others. Should be a good time
