Should be clear by now, but this article sums it up best. http://www.planetf1.com/editorial/8295279/Opinion-Losing-It
If Ferrari was to entertain this idea (they never would because they know FA is the best driver on the grid), who do you suggest they hire? Calling for the head of the driver that look the F2012 to 2nd in the WCC and nearly a WDC based on what one PlanetF1 blogger writes. Fantastic. Keep trolling.
I lost interest when I noticed it was written by PF1. That site is a complete joke. If they aren't busy nut-jocking Hamilton they're busy writing negative articles about Alonso.
Would rather it be motivational actually. For Ferrari to finally realize that they employ Fred not the other way around. Can't they see that Seb, lewis or Kimi could easily do anything that Fred can do without holding the team hostage to a primadonna contract. Time to say goodbye especially now that he is embarrassing the team like he did his former teams.
Oh, I don't think Alonso needs to go - but he does need to stop thinking about the 2012 season. All the best, Andrew.
Lol, +1 They hate MS too. Must have been hard to watch him lay waste to every British driver and reduce Williams and McLaren to nothing for about a decade.
1.) An Op-Ed on Planet F1 is not a "major press opinion." 2.) Nowhere in that article does it suggest that Ferrari get rid of Alonso. 3.) You're a troll.
Yes, I am sure the Ferrari reps are eagerly watching Ferrarichat.com for the latest in what the forum armchair experts (most of which don't even back Ferrari) come up with next. Show us the way, ye enlightened ones!
And they've tore into anyone else that even laid a finger on Sir Hamilton as well. Their love for Hamilton is just as obvious as their hatred of Alonso. If you don't see that then frankly it tells me all I need to know about you.
Regardless I doubt it is the sole opinion of a single person. I believe Fred is toxic for any team environment and that it is only a matter of time before he causes major strife from within. I believe it would be best to ged rid of him and start running the team with two drivers with equal status.
Frankly almost anybody would work in the mean time. Just make sure the spot is open for Vettel in 2014. That means Fred must be gone by then.
Well there is enough material in the article biased or not, to create some heated debate of that am sure..
How many WDC titles has Ferrari won in the last 12 years? 6. How many of these WDC titles were won with a clear cut #1 driver? 6.
So we're writing off 2013 then? Frankly, with the amount of *****ing and moaning that's ocurred this season when Ferrari narrowly missed out on the title, I can't imagine what 2013 would be like without Alonso... Personally (you know, as a fan of the team), I'd like them to have a chance to win.
