    Has anyone tried out for this show? They have open casting calls in my city tomorrow, and I'm thinking about going. What the heck? It's only about 10 minutes from my house. Anyone do this? Know any "inside" info.

    About 8 years ago I went to an open casting call for "Wheel of fortune". I was picked out of 11,000 people and made it on the show. I won 11345.00.

    I was gonna go when they were casting here. I honestly think I could have beat everybody who has been on so far (except maybe Bill). My only concern is, I think it is turning into a joke and you might not be to respected after you leave. You will just be another loser from a game/reality show. Its turning into the Marketer, not the apprentice, its a big commercial for products. You will just be a puppet. Plus it only pays 250k if you win. I cannot see myself wasting that much time. But it could be fun so go for it, or you might say to yourself next year- I could of beaten all these people.

    Assumming it goes well with 'the donald', wouldn't you think it pays > $250k?
