Frankly even moretti could score a ton against these jokers. The Marshes and Khawaja are living proof that if you are given an infinite number of chances, eventually you’ll come good. The problem I have is that there are plenty of other very good players who are not given the same chances, largely because they have the wrong surname or CA don’t want to be seen to be... Anyway, people like Ferguson, picked for one Test last year at a track where no-one scored any runs, he gets unluckily run out and never selected again. There are many, many others of course.

Obviously not a Ferrari (it’s a Golf) but rowing through the gears gives me absolutely NO pleasure above normal driving. In fact I find it a PITA. I’ve been avoiding the mountain of texts I’ve received today and this thread as I recorded the last two sessions and am just watching now. Gobsmacked. Disgraceful and totally unacceptable. Smith must go, and probably Lehmann too. Feel a bit sorry for Bancroft, as it would not have been his idea (most junior player in the team etc).
