NZ air force landed at Amberley about a week after Trevor Chappell "bowled" that ball, pilot gets out and bowls me an underarm ball, we all laugh but I go in, get a cricket bat and get him to do it again. I flicked the dribbling ball into the air and flog it for 6, ....... problem solved, you just have to think outside the square It wasn't cheating what Chappell did but it wasn't in the spirit of the game when taken in context ............ sandpaper has never been legal, nor vaseline, or lolly spit
Stayed until 11pm and he was starting to crank it up. Pity about Warner he was doing great until his thumb got in the road. When I left Smithy was still looking a little dodgy but obviously cranked it up later...hope he makes his ton and some.....foikin' currymunchers.
Yeah I recorded the last two sessions and just finished watching. Big FU by the Indians sending us in. The track looks like a belter now and we've still got plenty of batting to come.
The pitch was getting better as the temp warmed up in the early session. The currymunchers stuffed right up,as did Langer last year with Head,in dropping Ashwin from the lineup.
Foik me! 3 dropped catches. Cummins 2 out on bloody no balls and he should have let Boland bowl the last 5 overs into the break FFS.
Wow! I’ve been avoiding all human contact for the last 30 hours, even sitting in the cockpit of the jet for three hours today at Essendon despite it being only four degrees outside, so that I could come home and watch the last couple of hours I recorded without knowing what happened. YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY! And I’ll be over there for the next Test.
In the lounge waiting to board for London to go and watch the Lords Test*!! Yay!! Image Unavailable, Please Login * on my mates TV at his cottage in the Cotswolds…
Actually I didn’t think of that! I should have, but I’m out the day after the Test finishes. Next time!
Test cricket is great to watch live and Lords is a small ground so you feel more involved. I of course have been, Aus v England, seated in the Member's Friends box.
