You’re missing out. Plenty of people enjoy a day at a Test match even if they don’t care about cricket. Every year at the Adelaide Test at least 10,000 people are out the back of the members stand and wouldn’t watch a single ball live. I haven’t been to Lords but have been to The Oval and Durham and the atmosphere at the English grounds is fantastic. Loads of good natured banter and a real village fair feel to it.
Ah, sorry. You’re quite right. As the jet lag got me up at 4am I went for a long walk through the village then did the right thing and had a breakfast beer. And have carried on since then. Good start by the lads in difficult conditions. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Going very well so far. Poms would be thinking bowling first was a mistake. Let’s see how far their commitment to Bazball goes if they’re chasing 450 in the first innings!
Good one, Ian! It’s my old Aussie mates cottage in the Cotswolds which he’s slowly turning into a mix between a tropical and Mediterranean paradise. If only he could convert the weather as well…
Well I'm looking forward to Aussieball tonight. Watching last night's was entertaining: Warnerball did well until a ripper by Tongueball as was the delivery that got Usmanball.. Steveball came out swinging but Marnusball was ordinary. I'm sorry I missed Travisball that would have been great to watch. As for Greenball, well he didn't even have time to play with them. My pick of the match though was.......wait for it : BAIRSTOWBALL hauling that prick of a thing off the paddock,he shoulda dropkicked the mongrel over the grandstand to turn him into a bloody Football!
