If anyone has been looking at heritage plate prices recently, there is an Shannons auction in under a month with estimated prices not surprising given the economic climate. Here's what they have on offer: VIC [276], [312], [369] estimated 50-75k each [557], [602], [771] est 45-70k each TAS [85] and [86] both est 10-20k each Will be interesting to see how much they go for. If I was in a position to get a 3 digit plate I probably would. Regarding interstate plates, does anyone know what the rules are regarding rego in another state? I see both SA and TAS heritage plates driving around here in Melbourne every now and then - does that mean the owners have properties in the respective states, register the car to that interstate address but choose to park and use it here in Vic? I wonder how the insurance companies go about working that one out...
Like I said nice blue Thought I was looking at a California, you know the exhausts and all It was parked so no noise. Tho a red 599 drove pass at the same time, that sounded nice
vroomgt took me for a spin in one of these, the PCM is scary good still not a lover of the marque but they are impressive
There used to be a driving school car getting around the northside of Brisbane with the plate [O I CRY] , , haven't seen it for a while.
Sell prices for those interested: VIC [276] - 77k [312] - 63k [369] - 63k [557] - 40k [602] - 41k [771] - 41k Tas [85] - 8.5k [86] - 10k Thoughts?
I was thinking of lodging a phone bid on 276 as I have 275. Wouldn't have paid $77k in the current environment. As always the better/lower numbers hold up best when things get tough. Overall I think the results were ok given the economy ATM.
