237 on an EXTREMELY rare 997 turbo parked out the front of dundas and fawset in albert park. Based on the based few auctions if these two plates could be had for under 40k i would imaging a good price?
plates are like anything else with no intrinsic value, the price is totally artificial and only ever based on whoever pays for what at the time. kinda like the aussie muscle car market at the moment. :/
The NSW [15] plate is on a Toyota Camry Wagon. It is parked in a wealthy suburb and apparently only afew doors down from Tony "key test in pitch" Greig. Saw [ZZ] on a BMW X5 and UTL17Y on a SS Storm today
'82SC Pretty dark blue colour (Ocean Blue?); best thing about the car...I don't like driving it as I just never feel confident the rear is going to follow round the corner. Also don't find it comfortable. One of those chicken and egg things - am I only comfortable in Italian cars 'cause that's what I've always had or have I always chosen Italian because they're comfy?
today... [ 360 V8 ] (no pic) this morning on a black 360 Modena (seen it a few times before) at Pulteney/Rundle intersection. man, have to say it looks verrrrry nice in black, to a guy like me it portrays none of the "latte cruiser" that a red one would. [ 177 ] (pic) tonight on a white E46 M3 doing laps of Hutt looking for a parking spot. nice colour for the car, i liked it! [ F355 V8 ] (pic) just after on a red 355 Berlinetta. man, this car POPS! have to say, i'm liking 355s more and more Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw the 355 gassing up in Hutt Street at 11.30 this morning. The white M3 is very nice. I know the owner. It is a regular manual. The dealer tried to talk him out of the colour and the gearbox. I reckon it is one of the best looking E46 M3's I've seen.
+1 yeah, what's in it for the dealer..... (cue goobs ) he did about 3 laps around me on Hutt looking for a carspace and then parked right in front of me! so i got a good look, was gonna compliment him on it but he looked preoccupied and probly wouldn't appreciate some random hobo approaching him on the street. i've been thinking about printing out "business" cards that just say "you've been spotted on AussieExotics.com" to put on cars that i see...
actually GTS for me, i love targa cars. i'm not a hardcore driver, i just like to go "fast enough" and enjoy the drive. but i don't like full-blown convertibles much because they mostly destroy the beauty of the car (and give you a Noddy Complex), and i haven't seen any further benefit from having the entire back-end of the car missing compared to just sans-roof, especially compared to the difference between having a roof and an open-top targa... targa is definitely best bang-for-buck on a smile/mile ratio. (what-a behind you duzna matta!) oh man you don't know how much i wish Lamborghini would bring out a targa Gallardo... sure it may be a little softer (and flex some), but man, to retain 95% of the cars lines and be able to enjoy that symphony.... aaaaaah.
it's all in the setup...i've never driven a porsche that won't go around a corner faster than most ferraris. (that might be a slight exaggeration to make my point)
