Saw [22] on a silver SL500 today, looks brilliant. Seen it around a few times before, once at MM IIRC. Of all the different cars I've seen with Vic heritage plates, I think they look best on the SL. For some reason they just flow really well together, a true class act.
Alright here's one for the educated. My mum called to tell me saw the plate 'Ferrari' today. After making sure it was spelt correct I asked what kind of Ferrari it was (knowing well the answer I would get). 'Red' came the reply (women). So I asked her to describe it and she said low and it appeared to have the mirrors coming out 3/4 of the way up the A-pillar. Now I'm not sure of any models with mirrors up high so was she mistaken, does any one know what car this plate is on?
3/4 of the way up the A pillar can only be an early model Testarossa. Now given that no Aussie state have gone to a general release 7 digit number plate, it's a bit odd. WA and SA have the facility to have many letters on some of their personalised plates, but I didn't think that QLD, NSW or VIC did.
PPQ (Personal Plates QLD) has started releasing a limited number of 7 digit number plates a year that they auction at the Motorshow. Ferrari was the first one sold a few years back. The sold BENTLEY for $90k this year along with some blank ones to make your own.
What do you think of my plate, red writing on white plate. "SCUDERIA" Could be worth $$$$$ Image Unavailable, Please Login
