This has to be the coolest looking powerboat I have seen. I found this on another forum and figured you guys might want to check it out. No clue on price but it was developed in Ferrari's windtunnel. It doesn't have all the typical characteristics of your normal super yatch but I think it looks pretty cool.

Where did you see $24M? If that's the case, there are many others I would prefer and add a helo to the back.

I want one. Check out that interior!!!! If that isn't hot, I don't know what is!!! I love that boat, but I'd go with different colors (like marine blue and bronze or bordeaux red) instead of that para-military look.

BTW, I'd like this one too : http://www.classenyachts.com/kingcat2.htm

edit - from Doody's article : "it's a boat you're going to drive as fast as you possibly can with 16 bimbos onboard." I need one. Definitely. Right now. :)

Thanks, it confirms what I thought. This should have stayed on the napkin IMO. There is so much more boat you can get for that coin. One thing that made me laugh is that you can go across the Atlantic at a blistering 9 knots. You'd be better off in a motor cruiser.

Sorry can't remember ... when I first came upon the first one (M270) a couple years ago, there was a price mentioned somewhere on the web ... but I can't seem to find it again. Can't remember if it was 4 or 7 or 12 M$ (not very useful eh?). Was in the couple millions for sure. Wish I remembered that.

Yachts are much more expensive than most people think. They make HUGE leaps in price when you get past 2-300k boats.

That King Cat is nice, got pricing on that?

As for the Wally, I loved the very clean teak (sp) wood and the modern interiors. I am not a huge fan of modernist design, but it was VERY nice. For 24M I would get a something with a wider berth so that it is more comfortable than fast.

It will be a while before I am in the market for a $24,000,000 boat.

EDIT: The nicest boat I have ever seen is "Ocean Wanderer" (i believe that is the name). It was on a Travel Channel showcase of super yachts.

That 118 WallyPower is one powerful boat. I like its modern design and interior. But at $24 Million I think I will have to pass.

Another reason why it is good to be rich. :D

$24m to spare on something to use occasionally is more than rich, the only person more liquid is agent doggett from terminator 2.

most of these boats go into charter when they arent used. Some of them fetch up to 100k a week.

I am looking into the idea of getting a boat, but it will likely be more along the lines of a 60 foot sailboat or cruiser.

I don't get it. What's "bad" about it? It looks pretty GOOD to me! Or are you using some type of ghetto language and mean "good" when you say "bad" ? As I assume most Ferrari owners are educated a little better than that, at least I hope so, "The Best Yacht I have ever seen" would have made a lot more sense. On second thought, maybe you did mean it looked "bad" as it is a pretty ugly boat IMHO.

Thank God for that - I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought that this yacht was most aptly named - Wally!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's your typical ghetto language that I use since I don't own a Ferrari. What time should I show up for English class? I'll be late since I have to ride my bike professor.

It all depends upon your perception of what amount of money deserves the title rich. To me, my family and friends are worth more than that boat so I have a pretty rich life. But I know people who could go out and drop $24m on that boat without even thinking twice. You do not need that much liquidity to buy the boat. It can always be financed through a bank against assests that are worth as much.

Coming back to the boat, I have a few suggestions of what it is lacking. It needs a hot tub and it also needs Jet Skis. :) Then again if you are rich enough to buy the boat, you are rich enough to put in anything you desire in it. Don't think it is possible to come up with that kind of money. :D

It does have 2 jetskis and a small tender boat. The front expanse of deck lifts vertically on hydraulics to reveal them. There is a crane that lifts them out over the water and down.

Thanks, I really did not notice them in the video. I saw the crane and the small tender boat but not the jet skis. Sorry, my mistake! Anyway that is one cool boat.
