This is one of my favorite events as well. I hope they bring back the Formula 1 cars as well.

Ugh! I moved out of Bham last June and was disappointed they didn't have this event in 2018. I thought it was great the two years prior to that.

Maybe they will bother to promote it this year.

    Hope so.

Your doing a pretty good job of helping them do just that. Thank you for letting us know.

This is coming up in just over a week. I'm planning to go over on Saturday and spend mid morning to mid afternoon there. Hope to see a couple of you folks. Drew

No F1 cars according to Masters F1. I'd like to be there but I have a prior commitment in VA.

How was it this past weekend? Wish I was still living in Bham for weekends like this. Seeing FiFi (B29) fly over the Historics a few years back was an amazing day.

edit: I found this on youtube

    It was ok.

Just not that much interest in it with folks around here. Sad.

Man that sucks to hear. If I ever make it big and have a supercar collection (will be historic age by that time lol) I promise to bring it there no matter how far.

The car club etc turnout was essentially non existent.

One row of cars and about a third were sedans and pickups.

It was basically dead. I just left a little after noon when none of my car friends here in town showed up. I spent the afternoon cutting grass.

If Barbers wants this event to be something they need to tell people it is happening.

Kinda weird but the Mitty was noticeably down too this year.

    Maybe times are just changing.

We went up Saturday morning but came back early Saturday afternoon. I counted 4 Ferraris including ours and Tommy's going into the fan zone. The museum opened up the bridges over the track which is always fun to watch and hear the cars roar by underneath. It was a nice event and good day for it but not a lot of cars in the fan zone. Barbers did a good job but as folks have said it was not well advertised. We had fun though. I brought my 76 year old neighbor who was very impressed with the facilities and at least did not have a heart attack getting a Porsche hot lap. :)

I will say that the Indy event in April was a complete success in my opinion. It was packed and the car corral was completely sold out. Lots of things to do and see. This one seems to be working.
