I couldn't find an M2 thread through SEARCH, even though I'm certain we've had at least one.

Good info, makes a quick comparison with the M235. No driving impressions.

Not sure what I think of bmw m any more. Was instructor in m4 at lime rock last yr and underwhelmed for sure. Over heating and uder steering. But drove one myself at an autocross and was impressed. M2 should be lighter so maybe even better
    thanks for video, as usual

I have one arriving at port on 2/14, not sure when I will be driving it home though. Most are saying it wont be until April. I'm excited to see how this car handles on the streets and track.

I sold my e92 after a year and didn't bother with the current generation M4. Hoping the M2 will be the long awaited replacement for me e36 that I had years ago.

+1. What color / options did you end up with? On the top of the list for my next daily.

The one I got is a launch car so I didn't have a say in the matter. Also, there are only 3 options for the car, color, transmission and and optional executive pack. All the launch vehicle are coming in Long Beach Blue which the color of most of the pictures that are out there. Mine is coming with the executive pack and a manual. I was going to pass on the car if it was a DCT. Basically the dealers are getting whatever BMW sends them. I was lucky enough to get a manual.

This is going to be my daily and track car. I have tracked my Gran Turismo MC which is fun but not really set up for the track without some modifications.

Bought a 1M a few years ago because it was the closest in low-end torque experience to my former E39 M5. The car was fun but felt squirrely at speed on the highway. M2 looks interesting.
