I've had that. I thought it was okay, but it would have been better as a Stout.

Hmm. A stout with that flavor would be very interesting.

The Devils Brew made me think of this one.

    http://www.arrogantbastard.com/

Arrogant Bastard Ale. Only tried one. It had been sitting around a while and was a wee bit flat so the test drive I took it on may not have been fair, but when one considers the name (and he attitude) of the Brewers it may not really matter;)

I celebrated with a Dos Equis (though I'm not very interesting) and Tecate (but I am cheap :D) at lunch. Tonight its Negra Modelo with a splash of Corona Light.

    Buenas noches.

Oh, you don't have to be interesting to enjoy Dos Equis...their Amber is by far my favorite right now. I've been hooked on it for about a year.

I actually had my first margarita last night for Cinco. I've always stuck to straight liquor...and think I'll go right back, thank you very much. :)

WHERE DID YOU GET IT? I keep looking at Kroger/grocery stores in general but never find it. I'll probably have to go somewhere more specific, but that's kind of out of the way...

    Orange peel...nice justification. Wait--who needs that??? :D

At dinner tonight I had the "Beer Flight" foursome (not my pic), roughly a double shot glass each of Abita Andygator, Gordon Biersch Märzen, Shiner Bock, and a 4th that I can't recall at the moment. You pick 4 from 7 or 8 beers.

The restaurant is connected to a wine & beer store and picked up the threesome (my pic) below after dinner.

Now finishing the last of the Corona Lights from Cinco de Mayo.

    Cheers!

I buy it at a local/regional grocery store chain called Schnucks (I think they have stores in Memphis too). may want to check liquor stores or specialty food/beverage shops in your area, or just call Blue Moon and see if they know of a local distributor.

My Schnucks has it too. Their beer selection has more than doubled in the last year, now I actually buy beer at the grocer.

Picked up a "Party Keg" (5 qts) of Spaten Premium from a liquor store that has them on sale for $17.99.

    Woohoo!

Just in Evansville, as far as I know... 5 stores within 45 minutes of me.

Really is the only store I go to. Shame they don't have a larger selection of 'gourmet' ingredients.

He knew you wern't drunk, since there is about as much alcohol in Busch as there is in Coors lite, which is next to none.

Just had Brooklyn Black Ops - great but watch out for the 11.6% abv.

Brooklyn Black Ops (2008 commercially available version) was aged for four months in bourbon barrels, bottled flat, and re-fermented in the bottle with Champagne yeast. 940 cases produced.
