So I stop in to Walgreens for allergy meds and remember there is a Walgreens beer, Big Flats. $3 later I have 6 beers in my fridge. Its not terrible, but its not good.
I had a sixer of those a while back (not all at once ), and wasn't particularly impressed. probably bc Shiner Bock is one of my favorite beers, so any other product by them has high expectations.
Been awhile since I was in beer drinking mood. Tonight I'm going with Estrella Galicia (in honor of today's F1 race) and ZiegenBock Amber (first time I've tried it). Cheers! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Finally tried some Srone this past week. One word: Amazing! Love their IPA and Arrogant Bastard. Didn't like the Cali-Belgie as much, but it was still a good beer. Also had a few bottles of Berkshire Brewing's Coffeehouse Porter. Still my #1 beer.

My friend just came back from a Euro-trip that included the UK, he couldn't believe how much better Guinness tasted. EDIT: My 4,000th post is about beer. My friends and family would not be surprised.
I dont know if you guys overseas can get your hands on it, but here in Holland we have great beers. My favorite one is still Grolsch but when were playing music we drink Warsteiner (great tasting brewery over there) sometimes thats even better. But there are alot of other great german beers like Krombacher, Bittburger. And the Italian beer: Forst also very nice to drink when sitting in the Italian mountains on the balkony. Cheers, Floris
I think it's more like Cubs/Cards weekend. now I need some Imo's pizza and toasted ravioli. and yeah, this has been an odd break in the NASCAR season.
