Had Abita Mardi Gras Bock. Normally like their beers, but not that one. Shiner Bock is better.
Jealous of the hopslam!! I think our local places are expecting it next week..Ill be lucky to score a bottle or two!
Its a tough one to find. The release dates seem to fluctuate within the first 60 days of the year without notice and it typically sells out within 24-48 hours. I've been lucky the last couple years, especially yesterday. I had the day off and ran to the grocery to grab an onion and as I was walking through the meat department a guy came through the double doors pulling a pallet of the stuff. I couldn't believe my eyes!
Thanks to Whiskyps who is the new caretaker of a red 77 Ferari 308GTB I have this Pliny for my weekend. And As you know, fresh is best. Thanks P. Image Unavailable, Please Login
WOW!!! That beer is insanely great. I tried it once and it was magical. I wish they made their way to Michigan.
Way late to this thread as im sure all of my favorites have been mentioned (Chimay, Leffe etc.) I have been on a gluten free diet for the last month and tried some really horrible gluten free beer. And then......Omission IPA. Its like Sam Adams. Fantastic taste, doesnt taste weird or watered down. Just a good, old fashioned IPA.
I've gone through two different 6 packs of omission and it leaves me feeling well I can't really explain it. I just don't feel right. Other than that it tasted okay.
It leaves you feeling well? Or it leaves you feeling, well.......I cant explain it. hahahah. I made some home brew that gave me a different type of buzz. Couldnt explain it either.
Being super poor in college we made our own cider in buckets in the basement. Got the job done but always had a tester that wasn't afraid of going blind... And some batches did make one feel different
Family day at the movies As the feature starts my wife leans over and says "Hey look in my purse." She's definitely a keeper Image Unavailable, Please Login
weihenstephaner kristall weissbier! I ordered it for the name. It's delightful. My second choice is Delerium Tremens.
Having a couple locallly brewed beers from 7 Seas Brewing. I love the pirate themed names. Had a Ballz Deep and now a Rude Parrot. Both great IPAs.
And finished the night with a dying brew......Stone Ruination. Unfortunately dying. One of my favorite beers of all time.
IMHO one of the best beers in the world and I've circled it drinking beers: Image Unavailable, Please Login
