This will be the most interesting 458 GT2 to buy when available (probably end of this year) Chassis F142 GT 2808 - Photo Gallery - Racing Sports Cars This chassis ran the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times (and now on the reserve list for LM 2016) There is no other. All scrutineering/wec/aco stickers are still on the roll cage and fire wall. AF Corse sell most of their cars just after one or two years running. LM Winner 2012 2856 did only ONE single race. AF cars are factory cars, JMW is a privateer!

Such a shame to hear that JMW have been excluded for a non conforming front splitter or so I've heard.
Usually Jim keeps his cars or did he sold the Aston and the 430? I think especially the 458 has been such a long time member of the JMW family, will be hard to sell for them... emotionally I mean. Fully agree, this car has a story to tell, maybe the chassis with the highest milage out there so far and still winning races. 2802 is also still in use. once more that proofs how competitive the 458 was and still is. will miss that noise.... I'm wondering about the penalty, usually those parts are similar for all the 458 and its 2015 level and no further development has been done. Tom do you know more?
To me looks same as 2015 front spoiler, but maybe it is the underside of the front spoiler / splitter
Thank you for sharing, feel so sorry for them, its such a great team.... so passionate an lovely people.
I have to check if its #2802 but I guess yes. Michał Broniszewski took part in our Serie beginning of April in Misano with the yellow/black GTE and the Kessel Team. He had a technical Issue if I'm not mistaken but car showed up in practice and quali.
Is it reallye "the best" or the 458 with the longest history? Best I would say for a winning works car.
it depends whats your motivation for buying a 458GT2 (in general) if you want to race or intensive tracking the car, go for the latest, newest with low milage and latest Engine/Electronic/Aero Spec. if you want to have the one with the best history there is nothing better than the Le Mans Winning PRO and/or WEC Championship winning Car. If you look for the one with the most LM participation or any other specific history and you find this specific car, this one would be the BEST for this buyer. it really depends on what you want to do with it.
the JMW GT2 is something in between of the AF Corse Pro and the other Private Team Cars. JMW is a private, stable and very well known team, highly respected and very passionate racers. also they had always the Dunlop Livery blk/yellow and the car has a huge history and I guess latest spec. As Bertolini - a official Ferrari Works Driver - raced with them very often, the Car has some "offical" status. IF - and I doubt this will happen - the car will ever be on the market - a very interessting Car. as far as I know, they still have the 430 GT2 and the Aston GT2 in the same livery in their workshop. Great Car, no question. would love to see some more pictures
