He still has the 430GT2 as well :)

Spoke with a few engineers: Le Mans is politics only.
Give the ACO a big cheque (Dearborn) and you can run four cars.
"Good for the fans to see a new GT manufacturer"
And all were talking about: sand bagging by Ford
(And not only the Ferrari engineers...but Stuttgart and Detroit as well)
ACO is like the FIFA or ASO = money machines

    Yes :)
    LMP3 ~230k euro
Just a cheaper LMP2 but still carbon tub, carbon/kevlar body parts and a V8 engine.
Ferrari is now on same price level as the GT1 in 2003/2004.
    ACO/WEC should stop this imho

    Everyone sandbags.

Our crew heard it on the grapevine that Costalotto, when the 458 was being introduced for Daytona, "advised" to keep revs below X so as to not give away the full potential and hurt any BoP advantage.

A test driver like Jean-Marc Gounon now tests all GTEs and maybe GT3s at the Michelin test track Ladoux and iirc Ledenon before season starts but...what they should do is test at Spa and Monza as well. 4-5 tracks at least.
Now they "play" with restrictors, weight, fuel tank after each race!
And LM even just before the race or between test days and quali

Ford did the best job, won worlds most significant GTE class races in one single year.
    Corvette did same.
Ferrari is backed by FIAT and Arabs/Russians so enough funds to sandbag/cheat or whatever to win Sebring, LM and Daytona.

    And some more about pricing...

Renault Sport R.S. 01 by Dallara (GT2/3-ish, carbon tub/safety cell like DTM/JGTC, Nismo GTR engine) so on a higher level than a GTE production based car.
Price 340K euro (incl running costs and insurance for one year, net price car only 285k€ ...also available in GT3 spec)

Up to this day this car drove 25!!! ELMS races
This chassis was entered 5 times for the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2011-2015)
    Total: 30 races
Wins: 8 in GTE class and many 2nd and 3rd places (ELMS series)

One race to go for 2016: Estoril

Name ONE other Ferrari chassis in history that can compete with this car?
I will give you the answer: NONE (not a SWB, GTO, LM, Daytona, 360, 430 or 458)

No not even a 430GT2 chassis; only by winning two times the GT2 class at LM (Risi)
So that chassis comes 2nd :)
