This is the BBR model which I think is the best and flawless:

    BBR 1:43 288GTO - 25th Anniversary Special Edition
    - Handbuilt in Italy
    - Limited to 10 pieces worldwide
    - Mounted on special 25th Anniversary domed pixieglass display
    - With Signed Official Certificate, Lifetime Warranty Card, Original Box with Ferrari Licensed official sticker
    - New version kit which is much more detailed than the old version and also Makeup Eidolon's one

Hi-res photos as follows. Enjoy :)

Your 1:43 288GTO was made for the 25th anniversary of the company, the model itself is not that special.

I present you THE holy grail of bbr collectors. (took me 25 years to find one)
1:24 version, number says 49, total production 300 but there are only a few that survived shipping to the dealers because of bad packing..

Hans, that certainly is the BBR "Holy Grail" So very rare.

I remember back in the 1980's when I was collecting, buying & selling extensive amounts of hand built 1:43rds and a few larger scales. I had a number of those 1:24th 288 GTO's on order, and my order was never shipped to me due to all the damage problems. I was also told that BBR actually stopped production of these models very early on because of all the shipping damage problems. No idea how many, or really how few of these rare beasts they actually produced.
