    Hello All,

It’s been many years since I’ve participated in Fchat, at the time I had a 348 and I’m now looking to buy a Dino.

What are the best books for research? I’m primarily interested in books that show and list the differences between the series.

    Thanks,

    Steve Anderson

Jean-Pierre Gabriel wrote a couple of good, pretty comprehensive Dino books, but if you don't read French that could pose a problem. One was entitled "Dino, L'autre Ferrari", and I've forgotten the title of the other (but can check at home if anyone cares).

As yasmin mentioned, the Dino Register is a plethora of information. A must read; check it out. The other references are all valuable, too.
Now, look no further than Right Here! We have the ultimate luxury of learning from the experience of fellow Dino owners and maintainers. That experience-base runs the gamut from one-owners, long time-owners, multi-Series-owners, family historians, ground-up restorers, professional mechanics...to the sage who's daily-driver for 20 years just turned 190,000 miles (To quote John: "I DRIVE IT.")!
Take the time--allow several days--to review all of the threads in this section. Don't forget, after you log in & select Model Specific Discussions-206/246, go to the bottom of that page to the Display Options block. In the "From The" window scroll to "Beginning" and click on "Show Threads." You'll have access to 22 informative pages dating back to Nov of '03. Then grab that cup of your favorite beverage and commence reading!
Steve, I trust that the many great folks on this site will be able to help you reach your goal. Updates are encouraged.
A word of caution: Keep in mind that the Dino lacks the sophistication, performance (some may disagree!) and creature comforts that your 348 had. However, this voluptuous work of art IS a Dino. 'nuff said.
    Cheers,
    Coop
