Impeccable detailing. I've always had a soft spot for the Boxer and look forward to seeing this one at Cavallino next year. I did notice a bit of dash warpage over the instrument pod. Hope this can be addressed before the judging starts, but still a beautiful car!
That's a pretty standard "good" detail. Not that incredible -- badges and trim were not removed, etc.! A great job, no doubt, but that is pretty average among what most people who enter in a non-points concours d' elegance will do to prepare a car.
call me when you come to New York - i have a car for you plus at least 5 of my friends' cars ! I have never seen such amazing detail.
I just joined the site to see if he can detail some of my cars for me in Ponte Vedra He really did do an excellent job IMO.
Hi Stephan, its wild to see some of my work making it here through the internet. I responded to your thread through the PM box. Thanks for all the compliments (and criticisms)... The trim will be removed, as explained in the thread, the Ultimate goal is to get this car ready for Cavallino in January, but to get a majority of the work done in time for the Winter Park Concours. The undercarriage and certain items will be addressed before Cavallino and the car will be as close to 100 percent of its potential as possible. Thanks again Todd
I cannot anwser this because it would be disrespectful to my client, but typically, involved details like this are far from cheap and billed by the hour.
Nice work! It is good to see you having success in the endeavor you are so committed to. Keep it up! BT
I saw it in person. It was OK. OK, enough of the BS. The car looked phemoninal so kudos to Todd. David, the owner, is a true gentleman and I look forward to seeing him at future events.
Todd, If you do come up to the NY area, let me know - I have a 42 year old Ferrari that could use your special skills. Regards, Art S.
Thanks Jason! Thanks Bill! I hope all is well with the garage floor Thanks Paulie! I keep meaning to call but get caught up (being Mr. Mom)... I'll give you a call tomorrow
