    can anyone tell the best replecment system from the digiplexs, i have a (ferrari mondial 30L qv)injection, any idea of the costs also ,thanks martin

    There are a few options.

    Several people go to an Electromotive electronic distributorless ignition - many detailed threads if you search on 'electromotive'. There are other versions of this as well. Probably all done about $2K or a little north.

    On the other side of th spectrum, I went for inexpensive, simple and reliable and adapted a Mallory Unilite electronic ignition distributor and MSD for about half that price. Perhaps search on 'Mallory Unlite' for photos and description.

    Although it would take an adapter plate, I'd love to see the UK Superformance electronic distributor adapted to a qv - I'd put one on mine.
