    What is or was the best sitcom ever??? For me nothing can or ever will compare with the likes of seinfeld. Would do a poll, but I'm not subscribed :(

    Seinfeld is definitely the best "classic", but I laugh much much harder at Curb Your Enthusiasm than I ever did at Seinfeld.

    Not sure it's considered a sitcom even though it had some very funny moments, but I would have to say the best TV show ever was M*A*S*H.

    Love AD--gets no respect. What about Simpsons? Even though it's animated I still consider it a sitcom.

    Racer--how long ago was it that they aired "Sherman Oaks"? The daughter was damn hot. Funny show.

    Curb Your Enthusiasm is what Seinfeld tried to be. Still, Michael Richards absolutely slays me as Kramer, who is, in fact, based on Larry David's former neighbor, Kenny Kramer.

    As other show characters go, Martin Lawrence as Sheneneh. As with Kosmo, all you need to say is one name and you're there. Same might be said of Seinfeld, but he's a shadow of Larry David.

    The one show that can put me on the floor is My Hero.

    Does anybody besides me even remember this show? It was created by the same guy who made "WKRP in Cincinnatti" (which, by the way, should definitely be in the Top 10 of anyone's list).

    everything else is a pile of puke compared to those two.
