Best refers to just a good 1-2k a year driver and show car for enjoyment.
Rob this is definitely not a fair poll! What do you expect a grown man to do? Personally this is the creme de la creme of the marq . . . especially the Lusso & GTB (as a 4 cam) . . . what styling and power for street cars. I pick all five to grace the hallowed halls of my garages!
Just not as desired compared to the 275 and Lusso by many. It's still getting votes. You can only vote for one, I agree, we should be able to have all.
You wont find 275 GTB's for 200k$(even shortnoses 2 cams ) and Lussos are nowadays hard to find in that price range as well..
The Lusso is magnificant and is easily tied with my choice on the poll (330 GTS). However, I could see myself in a 330 a little bit more...even the hard top version is SLIGHTLY more appealing to me. Can you really find the GTS version for under 200k though? I know the GTC is available for 130k (Ive seen a few ~105k), but not sure about the GTS prices. How beautiful is this
yea, I know the 2 cams just start about $200k. Still get decent Lusso for $200k though. You can get a nice 4 cam 275 for $300k, so I think the 2 cam is about $100k less.
i have seen lot of 4 cams going for 350+ and Lussos are the hot thing now, dunno why ! they used to go for 150k max ..
I voted for the Lusso only because of the price limitation. I would rather have a 275 GTB if it were a long nose torque tube car, but you would be hard pressed to find one in the price range determined. I do love the polls.
With the default price "limitations" of this poll, condition becomes everything. Meeting the poll's criteria & getting my nod are a pair of sub-200K 275GTS's I've seen at Heritage Classics in West Hollywood, CA. '64 in black '65 in Red All things considered, I was surprised at the "low" price-points of these two beauties which are in excellent condition. For a few weeks now, there's also been a few cars in the back of the HC showroom which I've yet to see make it to the website. One is a 275GTB. I'll be cruising by later & will take in the sights via some window shopping.
It appears the aforementioned '65 in Red has been sold. The '64, which always catches my eye - is still available for any Real-not-Monopoly-Moneychangers. Come on, Lotto!
