Keeping the carbon-ceramic brakes on the mule.

Interesting that the mule has a rear wing from the get-go. It doesn't look like the front has a large splitter to match.

its a turbo, sound is gone.... the only positive impact is that noise restrictions on race tracks will not be a major issue anymore...maybe that help that some tracks will survive.

according to some people involved in the challenge development, its not finally decided if the car comes with or without wing.

That wing sits a lot higher than the GTE and GT3 488... It's huge!

Regulations, regulations....in the same manner that the engine on the challenge car is vastly more powerful than the GT3 and even more so than the GTE... And yet the GT3/GTE are much faster cars than the Challenge car.... Power isn't everything!!!

Just curious about how much transfer of know how will be between challenge and 488 speciale future car, I dream a presentation after winning the WEC championship with a fair bop and a revenge against Ford next year or in 2018

that's the first I've heard of that, and I'm pretty sure it will come with the wing. The 458 was MUCH more stable with the Evo kit, I can't imagine them not having it.

About 6 months ago a few people provided their "suggestions" for the new car....

    which included:

    Steel brakes from GT3 car
    Larger front tires
    An Xtrac sequential
    A (Real) motorsport ABS
    composite quick-change body parts

In reality, Ferrari does try (and we can agree or disagree) that they want the challenge car to have a lot of the road car in it....eg. carbon brakes, DCT, tweaked but almost OEM braking system, metal body parts.

Good to see the front vent, that means more downforce, less splitter perhaps and a central radiator (i.e. less prone to crash damage). Car looked good going over the curbs. Sounded like a 488. Look forward to see the final specs.

One challenge (pun intended) is the 488C can be approaching the cost of a nice GT3 car
