Who am I? Just a working guy who has been lucky enough to be involved with lots of cars, nothing like Old Guy or Napolis, but lots of significant cars. All makes, all vintages. Love cars, love the business as a hobby. I have a serious career as many here do. Plenty of BS there, so don't need/want it here. Managed to remain fairly private for years, embarassed actually about the cars...people assume it is the money. Have a family now, 6 week old son who had viral meningitis @ 2 weeks old, a 3 yo daughter who cheers 'Go shummi, go rubens' during qualifying, and a 17yo son who is a great kid. Wife has been ill, I was up with her last PM when the BS happened. People need to appreciate what they have and respect what others have. Probably not the answer you wanted, or cared, maybe, but that's me. A lucky guy with good friends. Nice to meet you.
I thought he offered a good perspective on alot of things. But his constant pervoking of the members could get a little tiresome. I really don't think he should have been banned permanently. Maybe a one week or a month banning would have sufficed. He did have some interesting posts and sometimes great links to video's. I will miss those posts. His quick witt was really fun to read sometimes when he was on the ball. I really hope you allow him to return in time. Maybe not now because tempers are high, but maybe in a month or so you guys could come to an agreement on whats acceptable, whats boarder line, and whats over the line.
I have to agree with most of this, and something like a 1 month ban would be better (IMO) than a permanent one. On the other hand, some have alluded to him being in bed with a competitor and deliberately out to sabotage Fchat... if this is the case, then sure, ban him for good.

I'd like to see him reinstated. Never saw the need or felt the urge to click on his porn links either. Didn't even realize he was posting that much of it if he really was. Gonna be kind of boring without him.
Why even discuss this? Rob doesn't seem to jump the gun and ban somebody without good reason, so I'm sure he had legit reasons to actually go through with it. If some of you are really gonna miss him, I'm sure you'll have no problems tracking him down on other chat sites.

Rob, that's not entirely true. There are several long time Ferrari people who like Allan, myself among them. While I disagree with your decision I understand your reasons and that at the end of the day this is your sandbox.
If it's insults or humor you like - Sorry, Charlie, Allan was strictly a yawn-fest amateur hour. If it's "helpful insights" one is citing - when did Allan actually offer Ferrari insights/advice/tips other than "you and/or your car suck, get a Lamb..." For example, aside from countless other Makes/Models mentioned on F-Chat - every Daytona, 308, 328, Testarossa, Mondial, 355, 360, 550, 575 car and/or owner was regarded by Allan as a POS. Translation: He told all of the above, "Fu<k you." I say, "Fu<k him and his wife's Horse he road in on." Cue: "Age of Aquarius" Time will show that more of the current 6,294 F-Chatters will benefit and contribute, let alone those who will join over the years. hahahhahahah lol exactly what I thought! Well I actually thought Allan was a pretty good member of FChat. He was the devil on your shoulder that would keep whispering in your ear, "Lambo, Lambo". I thought he was a nice contrast for the site and did offer good information, especially when it came to aftermarket and Lambos. He was funny. Something this website doesn't get from many other members. On the other hand he was just pushing it and pushing it and pushing it. I was waiting for something to give. Didn't think he would get banned though. I say bring him back and let him be. There are worse than him. I must say I'm kind of nervous. I don't unfortunately bring much to this board. Could I be next? I have learned a lot from this site, and Allan has been one of several people I have learned from. That's why I come here everyday. I too always look for the "bouncing Blue Lambo" in the thread. Go unplug his Nitrous lines from his SV but don't give him the boot for good. For the small but valuable few Rob says wants him gone, then tell them to talk to Doody for more info on the ignore feature.

I guess the ignore feature would have worked if you didn't want to see what he said, but, too may folks here won't ignore angry personal attacks, and I don't blame them. Allen lead the pack in personal, useless crap aimed to inflame, not to impart wisdom. If we had a section where all the angry folks could vent their personal vendettas, and they stayed there, then Allan would have had a home here. But we don't, and he doesn't, so, out he went. We can have heated discussions on lots of topics, but, the quality of any member's personal life should not ge one of those topics.
Yea- Allen has a Ferrari and exotic knowedge but gets banned. des gets another free ride. I hope Allen comes back- I enjoyed some of his posts and ignored the ones that I didn't. Just another example of the watering down & sanitizing of America. Trying to please the masses just dilutes the ones who are left behind.
what many of you fail to mention is allen has been kicked off a number of sites, Rob actually tolerated him the longest. No one disputes Allen brings a diff perspective and has good insights but you just don't have to be a dxck in doing it. Frankly he does it on purpose to get attention, as he has admitted, unfortunately many can't avoid his "traps" and the board as a whole suffers. In my view Rob was left will little choice - ban a few hundred users or ban Allen. Its really funny people complain about Rob's iron fist and at the same time point to f-talk as the place to go. my two cents

His knowledge is NOT invaluable. There are plenty of people here that offer as much if not more without being a total a$$ about it.
Allan was NOT a well spoken individual. Period. Do a search of threads on allanlambo and you will find disrespect for others opinions and others in general and this is in addition to the typical Ferrari bashing he did just to cause trouble.
Sometimes he was a pain in the a$$ but he always responded to and answered questions. Bring him back....but he did call the boss a terd so???
Hey, um... For all you folks who obviously have a problem with me, here's a bit of information for you... My "Rossa" status has nothing to do with Allan; not with his membership here, not with him being banned, nothing. Secondly, my "free ride" was just a joke; i paid for my membership... Surely you folks have more important things to dote on than what's going on with me...
