I saw that young blonde women driving a Silver 360 spider with Challenge grill tonight on Granville street by Caprice club at around midnight! Needless to say, I would've loved to have been her passenger!

I stopped by the new dealership today on the way home - great to see lots of inventory. The place looked pretty well full and Kirk, the sales guy, was great.

A couple 348's - a tb and ts, and a 328gts, were of interest to me. also had a customer's 412 in the corner, and a Maranello on the one wall. Sorry - no pictures.

I second this. Of all the people that you could find intimidating, car salesmen shouldn't be making an appearance on the list.

Find royalty intimidating if you must - or celebrities, or judges, or your father-in-law. But car salesmen?....c'mon now.

Very true. I agree. one should always always hold their head up high when approaching anyone. It show's strength and confidence.

But I do not agree on the lack of respect for someone just because he is a salesman. This gentleman at this establishment could/could not be an *******, but that is another issue. I am a "car salesman" who is not your typical plaid jacket wearing sleeze-bucket guy people generalize. I am proud. I have years of studies in business and marketing and chose to have an auto business. (My Lawyer brother even gets jelous at times because I have way more fun than him heheh)

So my point us yes Tactic as we have told you before BE BRAVE! And 5760 welcome to this great chat board, it is a great place to be. But I just want you to know that car salesman are not all sleeze.

    Cheers,

Still there - I was called on the car last week. They're willing to swap the shifter etc back to stock, and apparently just had the belts done. Car looked clean from the outside and worth looking at. wear looked about right for a car that's been looked after. I didn't go for a spin.

Have you jumped into anything yet?

    I bought a TR instead.
I got great insight from a well known, but anonymous F car man who mentioned the car zigged when the owner should have zagged.

I was kind of upset with FMof V. I tried numerous time to phone them, email them but I never got a response.

Consequently I bought a TR elsewhere.

Nevertheless it may be just growing pains. I wish them well in the future ( unless they rip me off on parts )

hmm, sweet! gotta love those TR's. red on black? A colleague has an early TR in Edmonton - must be something about the open roads.

I think we're seeing FMoV get settled in. I dropped in 4 months ago and this was the first callback. The first guy was too busy dealing with FNA to know up from down.

  21. Interesting to note why Brian Jessel lost the dealership...an insider told me that he went to Maranello and demanded more cars. Apparently he had done this trick before and they just tolerated him...he was rude this last time though and that was enough, he received a letter informing him that his dealership would not be getting any new cars period. I guess Ferrari can afford to be heartless occasionally...

    The long way home
I have heard from other inside sources that it didn't really happen like that. Think of what the new owner is doing ASAP with regards to the dealership and that should tell you what Ferrari wanted!

    That sounds more like.

Go big or go home. LOL If they want the F-dealer they better look like an F-dealer!
