Was at White Spot in Kits on Broadway. Red 599 drove by pretty fast. Was going to drive by Ferrari Of Vancouver, but forgot on my way home.
Black California on 24th and King George. 40ish blond driving it. She was a looker. Second time I've seen a California in the same spot. Outside the Japanese restaurant waiting for my take out.
Great weekend at the Rolex Reunion, doing my best to represent BC! . 2nd in the Spice, 3rd in the F1. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw the black on black California again. Same 40ish cute driver. She was coming out of the Walmart parking lot as I was leaving the Five Guys parking lot. She must live in the area.
Very difficult to watch has happened in the lower mainland. What an unbelievable nightmare. Sending best thoughts from the opposite coast, hoping all federal resources and funds are sent your way to expedite a clean up to repair homes, farms and return essential services and restore transport routes. Although it is sad to know one death occurred (as of today), I’m relieved there wasn’t more people taken considering the size of the devastation. Unreal.
For most of us in the lower mainland of Vancouver, its life as normal. The flooding is in the Fraser Valley. @Gary Sandberg is in Chilliwack area, hope he's ok!
Hi Max930. Thanks for the concern. Yes, I am fine. I do live in Yarrow but on the edge of flooding, so not impacted. The Ferraris are towards the back field on even higher ground on the property. Those to the south and west of me are very much devestated. My thoughts and prayers are with them. Thanks again for the concern. All the best. Gary.
Hi Gary, Good to hear you are ok. I did kind of remember you saying you are in Yarrow. Stay safe! The lower mainland is fine. In fact I saw a white Huracan with his top down about half an hour ago on King George and 20th.
I was just thinking about you the other day, Gary. Glad to hear you’re all good. I’ve been trying to find some time to pop by, but there’s so much happening these days that I just haven’t found the time to do so. I will make an appearance at one point, I swear!
Was at VGH yesterday. Saw a white Aventador at 12th and Oak. Was surprised to see it out in the cold rain. It was pretty dirty and guessing its a DD.
Not mine . Guy came to my warehouse to buy some Mercedes r107 parts and this is what he came in . Cool guy , cooler car Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yesterday brought my 550 out for the first time this spring . Pathetic wash I did on it but was nice to stretch its legs a little Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haven't spotted many cool cars in awhile around here. A purple Aventador now lives in my hood of South Surrey.
Was at the dog park yesterday in South Surrey on 20th, A silver Nissan GTR blew by going above freeway speeds. Crazy fast for the area.
Hey guys: You need to get out of your caves more often For the most part, I am only posting in the FCA page for BC. I am out and about very much. Classica Auto Italiana at the Italian Cultural Centre on June 19, brought out 115 cars of which there were 17 Ferraris (246 Dino to 488 GTB), 4 Lamborghinis ( Countach to Aventador) and 4 Panteras. Some great rare Alfas as well. Question for long-time BCers: I've just moved to BC from Alberta, I have an F430 in storage in AB that I'd like to bring over eventually. Does anyone have any tips for making the importation a seamless process? We have already brought over an SUV and the experience was unbelievably awful - it took 7 (seven) trips to the local ICBC office to get all the paperwork sorted out. This was after I'd phoned ICBC 2 weeks prior to bringing it across the border and gotten the supposed list of things I needed. I have a separate set of questions about Collector plates, if an F430 qualifies. Mine's a 2006, I haven't been able to find model-year-specific numbers and if less than 1,500 were made that year. Anybody here manage to get Collector plates for their car?
Welcome to BC. Where have you relocated to? The link below may be helpful. The biggest thing is the safety inspection prior to licensing. https://www.icbc.com/brochures/Pages/moving-to-BC.aspx
